These fast drying, professional quality alkyds offer superior pigment concentration while maintaining the excellent handling characteristics of each individual pigment. With a creamy consistency similar to that of Da Vinci traditional oils, Fast-Dry Alkyds are perfect for working with a painting knife or brush.

All 60 colors in the line are permanent and have an ASTM lightfastness rating of I (excellent) or II (very good). Colors can be thinned with paint thinner or turpentine to lower the viscosity and increase transparency. Colors can also be mixed with linseed-based oil.

A thin film dries to the touch in approximately 24 to 48 hours depending on the pigments, thickness of the paint, and environmental temperature. This paint is excellent for building layers quickly.
